Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP)

Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP)

The Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) will show as a link in the footer navigation located at the bottom of each page of your website.

HIPAA regulations require providers, practices and healthcare facilities to have a Notice of Privacy Practices viewable on their website. Dr. Leonardo provides a default NPP to help subscribers comply with this HIPAA requirement. The default NPP advises patients how their health information may be used and disclosed, and how they can gain access to their information. The default NPP is very broad in scope. Review the notice to ensure that it accurately reflects the privacy policies of your practice.

The default NPP may be changed or customized using the editor, and you may use it as the Notice of Privacy Practices document distributed to patients when visiting your office or facility.
